November is one of my favorite times of the year. The leaves are finally down, and the woods open up and show their inner magic. I love to backpack during this time of year as well, the crowds are gone and you can go to any park in the country and have it all to yourself. But most of all I love November because it is time for Thanksgiving, and the prelude to the Holiday Season.

I enjoy Thanksgiving because it makes me nostalgic, I think of family and catching up over a meal made with love and care. Most of all it humbles me. I look around at my life and pinch myself everyday that we have been in business for nearly 17 years, I look at my wife of 20 years, and our kids, and I am brought to my knees by the treasures, and meaning they have given to my life, and I look at the promise of the world and still think it is my duty to bring that promise to life.

I hope all of us feel the same way, and that we take the time this Thanksgiving to really reflect on just how great life can be, and just how many incredible blessings we have here in the good ole USA.

I also hope you get a chance to stop in the deli and bring the family in to say hello. We would love to see you, and don't forget we are offering free cookies this month when you dine in with us. This is the first time we have ever done anything like this, so don't miss out!
