This is our maiden issue of the Yadda, Yadda newsletter. This newsletter will go out monthly to our Deli Club members. In each issue I will share some random thoughts about life at large, introduce you to our wonderful staff, feature some of the things that we do around here, and give you an exclusive offer as a thank you for being good customers, and reasons to keep coming back.

It's hard to believe that Summer is quickly coming to an end, and that the kids are going back to school. I think that some of us parents are actually more than ready for this to happen, but I know it's bittersweet. My children are starting eight grade and sixth grade. I can't believe that my son is on to high school next year. Susan and I are huge supporters of education, and we try very hard to give something back to the community to help kids in a variety of ways. This September we are starting The Stevens After School Kids Club. Basically, it's a chance for you and your child to come here for an after school snack that is healthy and affordable, in a comfortable setting where you can catch up and maybe get a head start on homework.

In addition we will be making a $500.00 donation to the Home of The Innocents to help children in crisis that desperately need someone committed to their education. It's not much, but hopefully we can build on this start and many other worthy child related activities.
