During the past year I have been fortunate to be a member of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2007. It has been a wonderful experience for me, and I will miss it tremendously. Our last class was "quality of life", and basically it was a look at what's going on downtown. Let there be no doubt, Louisville is on the move. Museum Plaza, Arena, Waterfront, new hotels, fabulous lofts and condos, David Jones's huge parks project, and so much more - it is fantastic and offers something for everyone.

At the heart of any city is its people, and we have some of the best, and what gives a city flavor is it's unique independent businesses. We are so proud to be entering our 16th year in business, and to be a part of what makes our city great. You well know that when you come here you are going to be taken care of, our staff is all about that. You know that the food you get here is made with love, it's made fresh every day, and we think you can taste the quality difference.

We want to encourage you to explore your city this summer and when you decide to head down to the waterfront, or one of our great parks, stop in and put together a great picnic lunch, with some bread, a few salads, a cookie or two for sure, and enjoy.

There are tons of choices out there these days, we invite you to make us part of your routine, and support the locals who give the community its character.
